Lehigh Valley Health Network is a nationally recognized health care organization that offers a unique opportunity to excel in the field of nerve conduction studies.
As a Nerve Conduction Study Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and support services under the direct supervision of qualified electro-diagnostic physicians.
Your key responsibilities will include performing Nerve Conduction Study (NCS) procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
Key Job Duties

• 
  
• Maintain current knowledge in neurodiagnostic procedures and equipment
  
• Perform high-quality Nerve Conduction procedures according to policy and procedure
  
• Prepare patients for testing and provide direct patient care and support services as needed
  
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures and participate in mandatory programs
  
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation
  
• Utilize effective communication skills in all interpersonal interactions
  
  Minimum Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • High School Diploma/GED
    
  • Registration in Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS)
    
  • 1 year Neurodiagnostic Nerve Conduction Study (NCS) testing experience
    
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
    
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania
    
  • RNCST - Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist - State of Pennsylvania
    
    Physical Demands
    This role requires frequent sitting/standing, keyboard use, and may involve patient care activities such as kneeling, bending, and performing CPR.
