TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Every other weekend, Holidays required, No on-call Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years' experience in acute adult oncology or Med Surg License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - Required: BLS - AHA, NIHSS - Preferred: Telemetry, Chemo Certification with ONS Must-Have: - 2 years' experience in acute adult oncology or Med Surg - ASN degree required; BSN preferred - Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write) Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs - Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments - Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned 26099678EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
