This person will be handling all claims from different branches in the field and managing the each claim from start to finish.

  • Develop and implement risk management policies and protocols to mitigate potential risks.
  • Manage the claims process from occurrence to closure, including all associated administrative tasks and claims software entry.
  • Collaborate with the general counsel, attorneys, and other stakeholders to resolve claims and handle litigated issues.
  • Drive the claims process with adjusters to ensure timely follow through of actions items
  • Act as the primary liaison with insurance brokers, adjusters, and workers' compensation carriers.
  • Oversee and manage all incidents, ensuring they are properly reported, investigated, and resolved.
  • Analyze and approve the claims loss and expense reserves established by insurance carriers in conjunction with the others in the Risk Management Department.
  • Travel to various field locations to assess risk, investigate incidents, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements in the risk management program to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on general liability and workers' compensation issues.
  • Act as the liaison to attorneys, insurance companies and/or insurance investigating incidents that may result in asset loss.
  • Partner closely with EHS on OSHA investigations and all matters related to risk mitigation/avoidance.Ideal candidate: someone with experience as an adjuster, in the worker's compensation side is preferred someone worked as paralegal or law firm experience dealing with injury cases and claimsInterested in hearing more?
